As a member of the Executive Committee, the Treasurer attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees as well as meetings of the Finance Committee, which the Treasurer chairs. Commitment includes budget drafting, management & preparation of reports.

Description
The Treasurer for the new nonprofit Saratoga Writers Center (already designated a 501c3 tax exempt organization) acts as the principal financial officer, overseeing fiscal health, budgeting, and compliance. Key duties include presenting financial reports, chairing the finance committee, ensuring internal controls, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and audit requirements. This position would also be responsible for overseeing financial management of grant program funds.
