Russian Speaking Volunteers

Are you a Russian speaking community member? Is Russian your second language? Would you like to ease the transition of our residents to supported living? Create some smiles. Discuss current events. Share about your family. Watch Russain television and movies. Join our Russian speaking residents during the Russian social hour and celebrations! I ideas and needs are unlimited!

Visit residents who speak Russian and spend an hour in a one to one setting or join in during our Russian Social hour and celebrations. You can also support small group activities. Some of our residents speak no or little English. We do have employees who assist with translation, however we would welcome volunteers to offer more opportunities.

We have opportunties for volunteers during the day (anytime), evenings and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

1:1 visits for an hour

Russian Social Hour 2pm Last Wednesday of the month

Shabbat Blessings and Prayers Friday at 3:30pm & Saturdays at 11am

Bingo Monday at 2:30pm & Thursday at 11:00am

Let us know that you would like to volunteer and when you are available and we will match you with an event. Volunteer on a regular basis (perferable for 1:1 visits), one time, monthly. We welcome your on your schedule!
