    Description

    Toy Drive Volunteer Organizer

NAAAP-Chicago is seeking volunteers to help organize our Annual Toy Drive , a signature event that is part of our Community Service Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Program Management by accomplishing independent tasks.

Since its inception in 2003, our Annual Toy Drive has served as a beacon of hope for children's programs in the Chicago Asian American Pacific Islander community. This cherished tradition not only brings joy to countless families but also serves as a lifeline for many children from low-income households. For many of these young ones, the toy they receive during our event is the only new gift they'll receive all year. As we come together to fundraise and organize this event, our aim is to make a lasting impact on the lives of these children and their families, ensuring they feel the warmth and generosity of our community during the holiday season.

We are in search of individuals who embodies both organization and motivation-a go-getter who thrives on completing tasks with minimal supervision and eagerly seizes opportunities to take initiative. We seek someone who embraces innovation and is unafraid to venture into uncharted territory.

Volunteers must have familiarity with the Chicago area and suburbs as this program involves working with other nonprofit organizations in the Asian/Pacific Islander American Community. Volunteers play an active role in the planning, recruitment, securing sponsorships, and execution of community service events.

Join us in making the NAAAP brand a symbol of high potential and driving impact in the Asian American community.
