CAREtenders Hospice is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by providing companionship visits to patients on hospice services. This could also include providing the family with support by sitting with their loved one while they take a break. Volunteers may visit patients living at home and in nursing facilities. Volunteer companionship visits can include, but are not limited to: reading with a patient, watching television or a movie, playing a game, going outside for fresh air or simply just being present and having a conversation. The need for companionship seems greater than ever. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible. If you are interested in making a difference please call CAREtenders hospice (248) 727-2323 or email us at iesha.jackson@lhcgroup.com
