💜 Make a Difference as a Hospice Volunteer
We are looking for compassionate volunteers who want to bring comfort, companionship, and meaningful connection to hospice patients and their families.
Hospice volunteers can support patients in their homes or in care facilities. Opportunities may include:
- Providing bedside companionship and conversation
- Sitting with patients so caregivers can take a much-needed break or attend appointments
- Reading, playing games, sharing stories, or simply offering a comforting presence
- Providing music, singing, or playing an instrument
- Pet therapy visits with appropriately trained/certified animals
- Haircuts or grooming services from licensed hair stylist
- Licensed massage or other professional skills, when appropriately credentialed and approved
- Sharing other talents that can bring comfort, joy, and connection to patients
No special skill is required to make a difference. Sometimes simply being present, listening, and spending time with someone can be one of the greatest gifts you can offer.
Whether you have a few hours to give, a special talent you'd like to share, or simply a heart for helping others, we would love to hear from you.
Volunteer opportunities are available in both private homes and care facilities. Training and guidance are provided to help volunteers feel prepared and supported in their role.
