Help keep our community safe while guiding our finances.
Capital Area Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit that partners with law enforcement and the public to solve crimes through anonymous tips and community rewards. We’re looking for a volunteer Treasurer to join our board and oversee basic financial management.
What You’ll Do
- Track income, expenses, and bank activity
- Prepare simple monthly financial reports
- Support budgeting and grant reporting
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance
- Organized and reliable
- Familiar with QuickBooks or Excel (or willing to learn)
- Committed to integrity and community service
