Volunteer Opportunities for Friends of Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge

The Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge is unique here on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Encompassing nearly 6,000 acres, it is the second largest accessible, open space on the Cape; the first being the National Seashore! The Friends of Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge supports the management efforts of Refuge Partners and promotes advocacy, education, conservation and recreational opportunities within the Mashpee Refuge.

As we continue our work, we’re excited to welcome more people into the fold. If you’ve ever considered getting more involved - whether through volunteering, lending your skills to a project, or helping shape the future of our organization - we’d love to hear from you. We are also seeking to expand our Board of Directors. If you’re passionate about conservation, community engagement, and the long‑term stewardship of this remarkable place, we invite you to step forward and join us in guiding the next chapter.

We are interested in your connection(s) to Cape Cod and to the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge, your interest in conservation and the protection of open space. Experience with fundraising campaigns and project management is also a plus as we embark on the establishment of a visitor center for our refuge.
