    Description

    Marin Green@Home Tour - August 29

Acterra is proud to present our Green@Home Tours! These tours are a free, community-powered event that invites the public to explore innovative, electrified homes.

We are seeking day-of volunteers to help us before, during, and after the event: Volunteers help greet attendees, manage sign-ins, and support tour hosts during the event. This event is perfect for anyone interested or passionate about electrification and sustainability. Any interested volunteers can sign up through our volunteer form.

Can't volunteer? Come as an attendee!

Homes range from new construction to those transitioning from gas. Gain valuable insights from tour hosts on appliance selection, contractor decisions, installation processes, tax credits and incentives, making your transition to electric living informed and cost-effective.

Attendees have the chance to see firsthand a wide variety of electric appliances and environmentally-conscious home upgrades including energy-efficient heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, induction cooktops, rainwater catchments, compost bins, electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels, battery storage systems, and more.

Attendees are also able to engage with tour hosts to learn about their choices, including financial considerations, rebate programs, contractors, and appliance models. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/marin-greenhome-tour-2026-registration-1989266317104?aff=ghtpage
