Description
Who are we looking for?:
- Professionals who have been in their career journey for more than +2 years. We are also looking for an array different industry backgrounds. Whether your are finally settling into a role after +2 years, coming up to your 10 year anniversary, or retired, we welcome all stories!
Time Commitment:
- Volunteers must commit to two-hours for their participation in the Career Exploration Fair where they will have the opportunity to meet with 3-4 scholars answering their questions. Questions will focus on learnings around your current position or past positions, and career journey
Where:
- Sessions are held virtually via our online event platform so volunteers can enjoy participating from the comfort of their home environment. Scholars will book sessions directly with volunteers via our online booking platform.
What does it look like:
- 1:1 meeting will include Freshman through Senior Level College Students. Each session is 20 minutes in length and can occur any time between the 2 hour period (10:30am-12:30pm)
What is needed?:
- No preparation is needed by volunteers as discussions will be led by our scholars. Questions may be around career journey, company culture, job work: the challenges and rewards, why you chose your career path, how to prepare, etc. We encourage you to be yourself! Reflect on your own journey and ask: What do you wish you knew when you were a young professional?
