Caring volunteers needed for Hospice support

Gentiva Hospice Is Seeking Compassionate Volunteers in Tucson & Green Valley!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Gentiva Hospice invites you to join our dedicated team of volunteers who provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their families during one of life’s most important journeys.

    Current Volunteer Opportunities:

    Companionship Volunteers

Provide emotional support, a listening ear, and companionship to patients in their homes or care facilities.

    Administrative Volunteers

Assist with light office tasks such as filing, organizing supplies, and greeting visitors.

(Ideal for friendly and organized individuals!)

    Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteers

Support fellow Veterans through our We Honor Veterans program, including participation in recognition ceremonies and Veteran-centered social visits.

    Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers aged 16+ are welcome to help with administrative support.

Volunteers aged 18+ may participate in patient visits.

All volunteers must complete a background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis screening. (All costs are covered by Gentiva. We do not test for THC.)

    Why Volunteer with Gentiva Hospice?

You’ll become part of a compassionate, interdisciplinary care team that includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and more - all working together to provide patient-centered, end-of-life care. Volunteers bring a unique and powerful presence that enhances the quality of life for patients and families alike.

At a time when life matters most... your presence can make a lasting impact.

"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart."
