A Memory Bear is a handcrafted keepsake made from the clothing of a loved one who has passed. These bears provide families with a tangible, comforting reminder of someone they cherish. We are looking for compassionate, detail-oriented sewing volunteers to join our Memory Bear Program and help create these meaningful gifts.
✂️ What You’ll Do
- Sew Memory Bears using materials provided by families (such as shirts, robes, or blankets)
- Follow supplied patterns, or use your own sewing expertise
- Handle cherished clothing with care and respect
- Create a beautiful, comforting keepsake for families grieving the loss of a loved one

- Skilled sewing enthusiasts — machine or hand-sewing experience welcomed
- Ability to work independently and complete projects within a reasonable time
- Respectful, compassionate individuals who handle sentimental items with care
- Willingness to attend volunteer orientation and follow program guidelines
