Founded in Ohio and now expanding into Minnesota, our mission is to help young people overcome barriers, build successful futures, and become productive, law-abiding citizens who strengthen our communities.

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to grow in a safe environment where they can thrive, graduate, pursue meaningful careers, and become leaders in their communities.

    About the Project

We are launching the Our Helpers Minnesota Youth Empowerment & Transformation Campus, an ambitious initiative designed to support immigrant, refugee, and at-risk youth through education, mentorship, mental health support, career readiness, leadership training, and family engagement.

Our long-term vision is to help create a safer Minnesota by:

    • Reducing youth violence and school-related violence
    • Helping prevent shootings in our schools and graduation celebrations
    • Supporting positive youth development and conflict resolution
    • Increasing graduation rates and educational success
    • Providing mentorship and career pathways
    • Building stronger families and healthier communities
    • Empowering youth to become responsible, productive, and law-abiding citizens

    Volunteer Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Planning & Development Coordinator to help transform this vision into a comprehensive, actionable project plan.

The volunteer will work closely with the founder to help organize, develop, and prepare the project for future partnerships, grant opportunities, fundraising efforts, and community engagement.

    • Help create timelines, milestones, and organizational goals
    • Assist with strategic planning and program development
    • Support grant readiness and partnership planning
    • Research best practices for youth empowerment initiatives
    • Help organize documents, presentations, and planning materials

    Why Volunteer With Us?

This is an opportunity to help shape a transformational project that aims to improve the lives of immigrant and refugee youth across Minnesota.

    As a volunteer, you will:
