We’re building our team and need reliable walkers to give our dogs the care they deserve. We ask for 2-4 hours/week for at least 3 months. A recurring weekly shift is preferred to help our dogs build trust and stay on a healthy routine.

Description
Help keep dogs healthy, active, and socialized through regular walks and exercise.
Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs safely
- Provide exercise and enrichment

Exceptional volunteers may be considered for future paid dog walking opportunities.

Instructions:
To help us provide the best care for our dogs during this foundational phase, please include the following in your Idealist message:
- A Brief Introduction: Tell us about your experience with dogs (personal ownership, rescue work, or professional handling).
- Availability: Please list your preferred days and time blocks (Morning/Afternoon).

Important Details
- The Setup: We are a growing, home-based rescue. We are currently operating out of a private, converted residential space while we work on expanding our infrastructure.
- Next Steps: After we review your interest, we will reach out via Idealist to schedule a brief introductory phone call. If it’s a good fit, we will arrange an on-site orientation to meet the dogs and go over safety protocols.
Selected applicants may be contacted for a phone or video interview. Volunteer opportunities are flexible and may be performed remotely, in person, or as a hybrid role depending on the position.
As our organization grows, outstanding volunteers may be considered for future paid positions as funding becomes available.
