    About SCWEI

    Sustainable Climate and Women Empowerment Initiative (SCWEI) is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting environmental sustainability, climate action, and the social and economic empowerment of women and vulnerable communities. Through awareness campaigns, vocational training, and community-based initiatives, SCWEI works to create lasting positive change in Pakistan.

    Position Title: Fundraising and Grant Research Volunteer

    Position Overview

    SCWEI is seeking motivated and passionate volunteers to support our fundraising and resource mobilization efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in nonprofit development, grant research, proposal writing, and international development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research grant opportunities, calls for proposals, and funding sources from foundations, corporations, and development organizations.
    • Assist in identifying potential donors and partners aligned with SCWEI's mission.
    • Support the preparation of concept notes, project proposals, and fundraising materials.
    • Maintain records of funding opportunities and submission deadlines.
    • Contribute ideas for online fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
    • Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate with other team members when required.
    • Support documentation and reporting activities related to fundraising initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Strong interest in nonprofit development, climate action, women's empowerment, or social impact.
    • Good research, writing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and online research tools.
    • Previous volunteer experience or knowledge of grant writing is desirable but not required.
    • Students, recent graduates, professionals, and individuals seeking meaningful volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.
