Food Bank of Larimer County Summer Volunteer Opportunities!

The Food Bank of Larimer County combats food insecurity within our Larimer County Community in a variety of different ways. Reach out if you'd like to be a part of their efforts in providing LC residents with good food and smiles, reach out!

Here are our two biggest needs this summer:

Community Kitchen (Monday-Friday 2 hour shift increments from 6am-12pm)

As community kitchen assistant, you'll join a lively, close-knit team that prepares nutritious, made from scratch meals and snacks for two of the most vulnerable groups we serve: kids and older adults. This is fast-paced, hands-on work and every task you complete directly supports someone's wellbeing.

Lunch Lab (May-August)

During the summer months we need double the volunteer workforce in our kitchen to help prepare 600+ free and nutritious meals a day for children in Larimer County. We also need volunteer help to distribute these hundreds of meals across Loveland and Fort Collins all summer long. The route shift times change every summer, but most shifts run 2.5 hours long except for our Traditional Route which is about 4.5-hour long shift. This is our biggest need!
