Description
Dueling Minds is a nonprofit built for AuDHD adults, people living with both autism and ADHD, and the broader neurodivergent community. Most support systems were built for one diagnosis at a time. We exist for the people those systems miss.
We're a small, early-stage team with real momentum. We have weekly peer support meetings with a large audience and following, a newsletter, a growing blog, and a tabletop RPG community program in development. We know where we're going. We need people who can help us get there.
Our board is small, and we acknowledge the need for inclusivity and diversity and are seeking to expand our board with these beliefs in mind. Our focus will be seeking people who have different experiences, backgrounds, and cultural insights that differ from our current board members.
The Finance seat is for someone who can help the board do its job on the financial side. Reading budgets and financial statements, asking the right questions, flagging risks, and making sure the org is financially healthy and grant-ready. This likely rolls into a Treasurer role if you're the right fit. You don't have to be a CPA, but you do need to be comfortable reading nonprofit financials and helping a small org build sound financial practices. Lived experience with AuDHD, ADHD, or autism, or deep understanding of these communities through your work or relationships, is required.
