    Description

Help turn community generosity into essential support for local families and seniors.

SWB Delivers Outreach Program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking an organized, enthusiastic volunteer to lead our Giving Tuesday silent auction campaign. Proceeds will support resident success services, including food assistance and essential household resources for individuals and families in the communities we serve.

Working with our leadership team, you will coordinate the campaign from donation outreach through auction closeout.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop a campaign timeline and coordinate auction activities.
    • Contact local businesses, organizations, and individuals to request donated items, gift certificates, and experiences.
    • Track donations, donor information, item descriptions, and estimated values.
    • Help manage an online silent auction platform.
    • Help coordinate volunteers assisting with outreach, promotion, and donor follow-up.
    • Help promote the auction through social media and community networks.
    • Monitor bidding and respond to participant questions.
    • Coordinate winning-bidder notifications, payment follow-up through the approved platform, and item pickup or delivery.
    • Prepare donor acknowledgments and a brief campaign results report.

    What You Bring

    • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
    • Comfort contacting businesses and asking for support.
    • Familiarity with spreadsheets, email, and social media.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team.
    • Fundraising, event planning, sales, or online auction experience is helpful but not required.

    What You’ll Gain

Hands-on nonprofit campaign leadership experience, opportunities to build community connections, and the satisfaction of helping residents access resources that support stability and well-being.

    How to Apply

Please respond through Volunteer Match with a brief introduction, your relevant experience, and your availability through early December.
