    NAMI Ending the Silence Adult Lead Presenter

    Make a Difference for Mental Health!

    Use your time and talents to make a difference for mental health in our community. NAMI Montgomery County is currently seeking volunteers to serve as young adult presenters for the Ending the Silence Program to share their mental health journey with Middle and High school students.

    • Must be an adult (18+) in recovery with a mental health condition or a family member of an individual who experienced or is experiencing a mental health condition may apply to be trained as a program leader.
    • All potential presenters must go through an application and screening process.
    • Complete a self paced online training followed by an in-person practice session to become certified.
    • Comfortable delivering presentations and speaking to various sizes of groups.
    • Daytime availability preferred
