Description
Community Engagement
Location: Los Angeles County (In-Person)
The Niles Foundation is accepting applications for Community Engagement Volunteers, Fellows, and Interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, community outreach, environmental justice, food security, and public engagement.
Responsibilities
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities
- Pass out flyers and gather community feedback
- Support workshops, tabling events, and resource fairs
- Assist with volunteer coordination
- Support research and special projects
- Present TNF programs to the community
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in community service and nonprofit work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Enthusiasm for making a positive community impact
- Familiar with Los Angeles and its diverse culture
Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Volunteer, Fellow or Intern; local travel necessary.
