    Description

The Center for Integrative Relational Health is looking for thoughtful, creative volunteers to help us grow and nurture our presence on Instagram and LinkedIn. This isn't just a content calendar role. We're building a community that believes that relationship is at the heart of human wellbeing — and we want collaborators who genuinely align with that mission.

If you're a student, a career-changer, or an emerging professional looking to build a real portfolio in nonprofit communications, social media strategy, or community engagement, this is a meaningful place to do it.

    What You'll Do

    • Create and schedule content for the Center for IRH's Instagram and LinkedIn accounts that reflects our voice: warm, substantive, and grounded in the Integrative Relational Health framework
    • Help promote the Center for IRH's current programs, including the Ways of Knowing audiobook and current programs
    • Amplify the work of the Center for IRH Founder Paul Lichtenberg, PhD, including his Substack writing and the Etymologies of Care podcast
    • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and help cultivate an online community that mirrors our values of connection, curiosity, and care
    • Track basic engagement metrics and share insights to inform our ongoing strategy

    What We're Looking For

    • Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn: you understand what resonates on each platform and why
    • Strong written communication skills and an instinct for authentic, mission-aligned storytelling
    • Interest in mental health, integrative wellness, relational practice, or adjacent fields (you don't need to be a therapist — you just need to care about mental health)
    • Self-directed and reliable — this is a remote, flexible role that works best for someone who can manage their own time
    • Graphic design experience is a plus, but not required; a willingness to learn our visual style is what matters

    What You'll Gain

    • Hands-on experience building social media strategy and content for a growing national nonprofit
    • Portfolio-ready work in a mission-driven organization with a distinct voice and a developing national profile
    • Mentorship and collaboration with the Center for IRH's communications and program team
    • The opportunity to engage deeply with an emerging framework in Integrative Relational Health, content that will genuinely expand how you think about wellbeing, care, and community
    • A flexible schedule co-created with you. If you need academic credit, we're happy to structure this engagement to meet your program's requirements

    Commitment & Schedule

This is a remote, part-time volunteer position. We estimate approximately up to 6 hours per week, though we're open to adjusting based on your availability and capacity. We'll build a schedule together that works for your life.

    To Apply

Please send a brief note of interest (no formal cover letter required, please just tell us who you are and why this resonates) along with links to any social media accounts, writing samples, or portfolio work you'd like to share. We'd love to see your voice, not just your credentials.

    Send your materials to: info@integrativerelationalhealth.com
