Do you have a car and a few hours to spare each week? We need compassionate volunteer drivers to help transport seniors and individuals with disabilities in San Mateo County. Your time and effort can make a huge difference in someone’s life!
As a volunteer driver, you'll assist community members by providing rides to medical appointments, grocery stores, social events, and other essential destinations. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your local community, reduce isolation, and help ensure that older adults and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and quality of life.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, and other essential locations.
- Provide safe and friendly transportation, assisting passengers as needed.
- Set your own schedule: We’re looking for drivers with as little as a few hours per week.
- Use your personal vehicle to transport clients.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- A background check and driver’s record check will be required.
- Compassionate, friendly, and patient individuals who enjoy helping others.
- A commitment to the community and willingness to offer regular availability.
