Move with MADD New Mexico - Oct. 31 - Volunteer Opportunity

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)New Mexico is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our annual Move with MADD 5K Race and Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the University of New Mexico - Johnson Field.

This event unites community members, runners, and families to honor lives affected by impaired driving and raise vital awareness under the mission: Impaired Driving Ends Here.

• Location: University of New Mexico - Johnson Field
• Volunteer Hours Available: Approximately 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Up to 5 Service Hours)

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers can sign up individually or as a student club/team. Roles include:

• Participant Check-In & Registration: Welcome runners and walkers, hand out bibs, and distribute event t-shirts.
• Course Marshals & Cheer Squad: Cheer on participants to the finish line.
• Water Stations & Refreshments: Hand out water along the route and distribute snacks at the finish line.

Community Service Verification

If you are a participating students you will receive written verification or signed documentation for their school clubs (e.g., National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council, IB/service learning programs) confirming the exact hours completed.
