Volunteer with KUVO & THE DROP at Denver's Juneteenth Music Festival

KUVO JAZZ 89.3 and THE DROP 104.7 are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help staff our community engagement booths during this year's Juneteenth Music Festival on Saturday, June 20.

THE DROP is proud to return as co-presenter of the 15th Annual Juneteenth Music Festival in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood. This free community celebration features a parade, multiple stages of live music, block parties, a youth zone, more than 100 vendors, incredible food, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

This year's main stage will feature two-time Grammy-nominated R&B sensation SiR!

As a volunteer, you'll work alongside KUVO and THE DROP staff and on-air hosts to create a welcoming and engaging experience for festival attendees.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with festival guests
• Distribute station swag and promotional materials
• Collect newsletter sign-ups
• Share information about KUVO, THE DROP, and public media
• Assist with booth support throughout the day

Booth Locations

• KUVO tent at the Plaza
• THE DROP tent at the intersection of 27th & Welton

Volunteer Shifts

• 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Volunteer Needs

• 3 volunteers per shift at the KUVO booth
• 3 volunteers per shift at THE DROP booth
