    Clerical Volunteer

    This is a volunteer opportunity, not a paid position.

    This volunteer opportunity is NOT eligible for court-ordered service.

    Positively U clerical volunteers will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including answering phone calls, managing files, entering data, and overseeing records management. To qualify for this position, applicants must be at least 16 years old and successfully complete necessary screenings, which include a background check, a sex offender registry check, and a review of their driving record. A valid driver's license is also required, along with the ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. The office operates during specific hours: Monday through Friday, with varying times from 9 AM to 5 PM, and extended hours on Wednesday until 7 PM. Volunteers are expected to dress in a manner that is suitable for a professional office environment, ensuring they represent the organization well while performing their duties.

    Helping Hands Outreach

    The Helping Hands outreach program seeks dedicated volunteers to assist in promoting its services and distributing educational materials focused on sexual health within the community. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and are required to successfully complete various screenings, including background checks, sex offender checks, and driving record evaluations. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, as volunteers may need to transport materials or attend events. Additionally, volunteers should be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds to facilitate the distribution of program resources.     Maintenance Volunteer

    Positively U maintenance volunteers engage in a variety of essential tasks, including groundskeeping, performing minor repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting, as well as cleaning and organizing spaces. Volunteers will also assist skilled workers with larger projects, contributing to the overall maintenance and improvement of facilities. To participate, individuals must be at least 16 years old and successfully pass necessary screenings, which include a background check, a sex offender screening, and a review of their driving record. Additionally, volunteers are required to possess a valid driver's license and should be capable of lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds, ensuring they can effectively contribute to the team's efforts.
