    Description

    BluShues Inc. is a nonprofit organisation and ministry dedicated to distributing free Bibles and fostering a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Word of God accessible to everyone, both locally and internationally. We believe in the transformative power of volunteers who share our passion for spreading the message of hope and faith.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organise, and coordinate fundraising events.
    • Support the Chief Fundraising Officer in event execution.
    • Develop event timelines and budgets.
    • Coordinate volunteers participating in fundraising events.
    • Liaise with vendors, venues, and sponsors.
    • Promote fundraising events through various communication channels.
    • Monitor event outcomes and prepare evaluation reports.
    • Maintain accurate event records and budgets.
    • Ensure events reflect BluShues' mission and values.
    • Identify opportunities to improve future fundraising events.

    Person Specification:

    • Passionate about Christian ministry and fundraising.
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Creative and detail oriented.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Flexible and adaptable.
    • Professional and dependable.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Degree or diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
    • Experience organising events is preferred.
    • Excellent project coordination skills.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Strong time management abilities.
    • Ability to work under deadlines.
    • Knowledge of fundraising practices is an advantage.
    • Commitment to continuous learning.
