Volunteer Opportunity at the Food Bank
Are you ready to make a difference in your community?
Our Marketplace program aims to assist around 1,200 families every week. By offering a client-choice model, we empower families to select the items they need, promoting independence and dignity.
The success of this program relies on our dedicated volunteers who tirelessly sort donations, assist with check-in, and distribute food. Their hard work ensures the smooth operation of our Marketplace, providing a welcoming environment where families can access nourishment with respect.
Join our fantastic team! Gain insight into warehouse operations and develop valuable management skills. Receive a reference or recommendation from our warehouse supervisors after volunteering with us. Make a difference in the community while having fun!
The Food Bank is open Monday to Friday, with Thursday and Friday being Drive-Thru days for distribution. Volunteer shifts can range from 9:00 am to 4:30pm. Currently, there are no weekend or late evening volunteer opportunities.
