Craft Class Teacher Wanted!
Do you love arts and crafts and enjoy sharing your creativity with others? We're looking for a volunteer craft instructor to lead engaging, accessible craft classes for adults who are blind or have low vision.
Experience teaching or working with blind and low vision individuals is not required. We will help you tailor your crafts and make them accessible. Volunteers will support with the craft, if desired.
The ideal volunteer is:
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Patient and encouraging
- Comfortable providing clear verbal instructions and adapting projects for participants with varying levels of vision
- Willing to plan and lead fun, hands-on craft activities
