    Description

Conduct Behavioral Mock Interviews with Emerging Tech Talent (No Tech Background Needed!)

On April 23, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with Innovation Fellows from the Innovation Fellowship at The Knowledge House as a Behavioral Mock Interviewer. The Knowledge House (TKH), is a national workforce development nonprofit that trains underrepresented adults in tech and prepares them for careers in the digital economy. Over the past 14 years, we’ve served more than 3,000 learners and partnered with organizations to deliver high-impact programs that help fellows secure full-time roles in the digital economy.

As a volunteer interviewer, you’ll conduct structured behavioral mock interviews designed to mirror real hiring processes. Your role is to assess candidates on communication, problem-solving, and overall readiness for the interview process. You’ll ask targeted questions, listen for clarity and structure in responses, and provide direct, constructive feedback aligned with what employers actually look for. For behavioral interviews, you’ll evaluate how candidates articulate their experience, decision-making, adaptability, and collaboration using real examples.

These sessions are practical, focused, and designed to help participants leave with clear takeaways they can immediately apply to real interviews. This Mock Interview Session will be held virtually through Zoom From 5PM- 7PM ET. If this is something that interests you, you can sign up here. For any questions please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Litzy at lmejia@theknowledgehouse.org.
