    BonsaiFEST! Volunteer

    Volunteer Opportunity: BonsaiFEST! at Pacific Bonsai Museum

    Join us for BonsaiFEST!, a vibrant two-day celebration of art, nature, and community on Saturday, May 9 (World Bonsai Day) and Sunday, May 10 (Mother’s Day) at the Pacific Bonsai Museum. This family-friendly event features hundreds of living works of art, live bonsai demonstrations, guided tours, games, food trucks, shopping, and more—all offered with free admission thanks to support from 4Culture.

    We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a welcoming and smooth experience for our thousands of visitors!

    Volunteer Shifts (both days):

    • Morning: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
    • Afternoon: 1:05 PM – 4:00 PM

    Volunteer Roles Include:

    • Traffic Circle Attendant
    • Crosswalk Attendant
    • Parking Lot Attendant (Lots A, B & C)
    • Event Security & Guest Welcome

    What You’ll Do:

    Volunteers play a key role in keeping the event running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities may include:

    • Assisting with parking, traffic flow, and wayfinding
    • Greeting visitors and answering basic event questions
    • Helping guests safely navigate crosswalks and pathways
    • Monitoring key areas like parking lots, entrances, and gathering spaces
    • Supporting a friendly, organized, and welcoming environment for all
