For nearly 50 years, YouthCare has provided shelter, education, employment training, and trusted adult support to help young people find stability, pursue their goals, and thrive.

About Evening of HOPE

YouthCare’s inaugural Evening of HOPE is a special fundraising event bringing together community members, supporters, and advocates to celebrate the young people we serve and raise critical funds to support YouthCare’s programs and mission. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this special evening a welcoming, organized, and memorable experience for our guests.

Volunteer Opportunity

Event volunteers will support the YouthCare team before, during, and/or after Evening of HOPE. Volunteers will be assigned to a variety of event support roles based on event needs and their interests and availability.

Responsibilities may include:

• Helping set up the event space, including tables, signage, décor, and other event materials
• Welcoming and checking in attendees and answering questions as needed
• Supporting raffle activities and helping guests understand how to participate
• Providing general event support as a floater
• Helping with event tear-down and clean-up
• Providing other support as needed throughout the evening
• Specialized roles may include: Photography

Volunteers should be comfortable working as part of a team, interacting with guests and other volunteers, and jumping in wherever support is needed. No previous event or fundraising experience is required. YouthCare staff will provide direction and information needed for each volunteer assignment.

Time Commitment

Evening of HOPE will take place on October 15th with volunteer shifts between 2:30pm - 9:30pm. Volunteer assignments will include opportunities to help with event set-up, during the event, and tear-down.
