Description
Each Tuesday and Thursday, we distribute groceries to an average of 300 families here at The Urban Mission. Families line up at our gate hours before we open, and often the line of cars spills on to Portland, blocking businesses and creating traffic flow issues for the entire block. We have worked to design a flow of cars through our parking lot in order to most efficiently clear the road, and we need volunteers to help us carry this plan out. If you are able to stand for long periods of time, are okay being outside in the Oklahoma weather, and can help direct our clients with kindness and efficiency, we would love to have you join us!
