Volunteer Grant Writer / Funding Researcher — Autoimmunity, Women’s Health + Health Equity
THEYtriarchy is seeking a volunteer Grant Writer / Funding Researcher to support initiatives focused on autoimmunity, women’s health, healthcare innovation, and health equity.
We’re particularly interested in projects exploring overlooked patient populations, systemic healthcare gaps, chronic illness, precision health, and more equitable health outcomes.
To date, we’ve secured smaller 4 and 5 figure cash grants alongside six figure in-kind support. We are now working to build toward larger, more sustainable funding capable of supporting full-time research, development, and operational staff.
We are currently in final-round consideration for several six and seven figure opportunities and are actively pursuing ARPA-H, European national grant funding, and additional foundation and corporate support related to autoimmunity, women’s health, and healthcare innovation.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience with healthcare, nonprofit, research, or foundation grants
Can identify aligned opportunities across health, women’s health, public health, biotech, and patient advocacy ecosystems
Is comfortable supporting applications, research synthesis, timelines, and supporting materials
Has strong writing and organizational skills
You might help with:
- Health equity and women’s health grants
- Autoimmune disease and chronic illness funding opportunities
- ARPA-H and international grant applications
- Foundation and nonprofit partnerships
- Research and innovation funding pipelines
This is ideal for someone interested in healthcare innovation, women’s health, patient advocacy, biotech, public health, or systems change.
Remote + flexible hours. Potential for future paid opportunities as initiatives scale.
