About Immersed Global
Immersed Global is an education design and consulting organization working to reimagine global education through culturally responsive learning, immersive programming, and community-centered educational experiences.
Through Immersed Global and Madame Armant's Immersion Cities (MAIC), we create opportunities for young people to build language skills, cultural awareness, global perspectives, and meaningful connections with their communities.
About the Student Ambassador Program
The Immersed Global Student Ambassador Program gives students an opportunity to develop leadership, communication, community engagement, and professional skills while helping expand awareness of Immersed Global and Madame Armant's Immersion Cities (MAIC).
Student Ambassadors serve as peer representatives of our organization within their schools, campuses, and communities. Ambassadors help connect fellow students, educators, clubs, and families with programs, volunteer opportunities, events, educational initiatives, and other ways to get involved.
This role is designed to be flexible alongside school responsibilities, with an expected commitment of approximately 2–3 hours per month.
What You'll Do
As a Student Ambassador, you may:
- Share approved Immersed Global and MAIC flyers, announcements, programs, and opportunities within your school or college community.
- Introduce other students to volunteer, leadership, educational, and community engagement opportunities available through the organization.
- Share relevant opportunities with teachers, counselors, student organizations, service clubs, language clubs, cultural organizations, and other appropriate school contacts.
- Encourage peers to participate in Immersed Global programs, events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities.
- Help identify school clubs, organizations, events, and community initiatives where Immersed Global may be able to collaborate.
- Support approved school-based fundraising or awareness campaigns when appropriate.
- Represent Immersed Global positively and professionally when speaking about the organization.
- Share student perspectives and feedback to help us strengthen our programs and outreach.
- Participate in occasional Student Ambassador Team check-ins.
- Complete a simple monthly Ambassador Activity Report to share outreach activities and connections made.
What You'll Gain
Being a Student Ambassador is an opportunity to build experience beyond the classroom while contributing to an education-focused organization.
Ambassadors can gain:
- Leadership and community engagement experience
- Professional networking opportunities
- Volunteer/service hours
- Experience representing a growing education organization
- Exposure to nonprofit, education, communications, cultural, and community-based work
- Opportunities to support events and special projects
- Certificate of Service upon successful completion
- Eligibility for a recommendation letter based on participation and performance
- Opportunity to be considered for the Immersed Global Junior Advisory Board
Who We're Looking For
We encourage students to apply who are:
- Approximately 16–21 years old
- Currently enrolled in high school or college
- Interested in leadership, education, languages, culture, community service, communications, nonprofit work, or global learning
- Comfortable connecting with peers and sharing opportunities within their school or campus community
- Responsible, communicative, and able to follow through on commitments
- Interested in developing leadership and professional skills
- Able to represent Immersed Global respectfully and professionally
You do not need previous leadership or ambassador experience to participate. We welcome students who are excited to learn, contribute, and become more involved in their communities.
Time Commitment
Student Ambassadors should expect to contribute approximately 2–3 hours per month throughout the academic school year.
The program is intentionally designed to work alongside students' academic schedules. Additional opportunities to participate in special projects, events, campaigns, and Immersed Global initiatives may be offered throughout the year but are optional unless otherwise communicated.
Why Become an Immersed Global Student Ambassador?
This is more than an opportunity to share announcements. Student Ambassadors become part of a growing network of young people helping make global education, cultural learning, leadership, and community engagement more accessible to their peers.
Whether you're interested in education, communications, nonprofit leadership, international studies, languages, culture, or simply want to become more involved in your community, the Student Ambassador Program offers a way to gain meaningful experience while making an impact.
How to Apply
Interested students are invited to apply to join the Immersed Global Student Ambassador Program for the academic school year.
Applicants should be prepared to share a little about themselves, their school or college community, their interests, and why they would like to represent Immersed Global as a Student Ambassador.
Selected applicants will receive additional information about program expectations, onboarding, Ambassador resources, and next steps.
