    Description

The Alleviate Foundation is a nonprofit working to close the digital infrastructure gap for nonprofits and NGOs globally.

Across the Alleviate ecosystem (including Alleviate.org platform and programs), we’ve engaged thousands of organizations across multiple countries. The insight is consistent: organizations closest to the world’s hardest problems often lack access to the systems and funding needed to scale their impact.

We are building a new kind of support model — combining digital tools, capacity-building, and funding access — to help these organizations become fundable, scalable, and sustainable.

To support our fundraising and partnership efforts, we are looking for volunteers to create concise “grant snapshots” — short summaries of funders that help us quickly assess alignment and readiness for application.

    Project Scope

In this short sprint (2–3 hours total), you will:

    • Review 2–3 selected funders (we will provide the list)
    • Create a structured summary for each, including:
      • What the funder supports
      • Typical funding areas and priorities
      • Geographic focus
      • Estimated grant size (if available)
      • Application process (open/closed, deadlines, requirements)
      • Key notes on alignment with our work
    • Present findings in a simple, structured format (template provided)

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong research and synthesis skills
    • Ability to summarize information clearly and concisely
    • Attention to detail
    • Interest in nonprofits, philanthropy, or global development

    Time Commitment

    • One-time project
    • Estimated: 2–3 hours total
    • Fully remote, flexible timing

    Why This Matters

This work helps us move from identifying funders to actually pursuing funding opportunities.

Your contribution will directly support our ability to engage funders more strategically and efficiently — helping unlock resources for organizations doing critical work globally.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Exposure to real-world grant research and funding ecosystems
    • Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising strategy
    • A clearly defined, high-impact project

    How to Apply

    Please share:

    • A brief note on your interest
    • Any relevant experience (research, writing, nonprofit work, etc.)

This is a clearly defined, short-term project — ideal for those looking to contribute meaningfully without a long-term commitment.
