🗺️ Help Bring Friends Beyond Boston to Your Community

Interested in building a local community where you live?

Friends Beyond Boston is looking for people across Massachusetts who want to help bring FBB to communities outside of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville.

FBB is a grassroots, member-led social community for adults built around genuine connection, shared interests, and creating opportunities to meet people closer to home.

As a Local Leader, you'll help build an FBB community in your own area by creating regular opportunities for people to get together. You might organize a coffee event, dinner, game night, outdoor activity, cultural outing, or something else you're genuinely interested in.

The idea isn't to create a huge calendar or cover an entire region. It's about building a consistent local community where people can return to familiar places, see familiar faces, and gradually build relationships.

You don't have to start from scratch. FBB already has an established community, platform, resources, and experience behind it, and you'll have support as you get started.

We're looking for people who enjoy bringing people together, have ideas they'd like to share, and want to take an active role in helping build community closer to home.

This is a volunteer leadership opportunity with an initial 3-month commitment. During those first three months, Local Leaders organize at least one FBB event per month in their local area. After three months, you can choose whether you'd like to continue or step down.
