Description
Support Agate program participants. That's people facing or experiencing homelessness. Help them by providing them with essential personal care items they need and struggle to afford.
Gather your friends, family, neighbors, book club, faith community, or other group to make a big gesture with a small project!
Volunteers purchase materials, assemble kits, and drop them off at our main office by appointment.

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers purchase materials, assemble kits, and drop them off at our main office by appointment (see details below).
Instructions: Per the lists below, choose 4-5 first priority items and then include however many second priority items you would like.
First priority items:
- Bar soap
- Shampoo (shampoo options for textured/curly hair is our highest need)
- Conditioner (shampoo options for textured/curly hair is our highest need)
- Toothpaste and toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Razor and shaving cream
Second priority items:
- Body Wash
- Shower shoes
- Lotion
- Non-alcohol based mouthwash
- No Rinse Body Wash
- No Rinse Shampoo
- Washcloth
- Comb or brush
- A note wishing them well signed with your group name. Explicitly religious information is not permitted we want every person using our services to feel included and respected with these kits. Great sample: “We're wishing you well! From Ms. Brown's 3rd Grade Class”
Guidelines and notes (READ BEFORE ASSEMBLY!):
- Products included in packs must be new and unopened.
- Do not add any items not listed here.
We also accept (and greatly appreciate!) individual donations of each of these listed items. Delivery must be arranged via our scheduling tool or via our Amazon wish list. The wish list can be found here.
