    Volunteer Social Media Manager

    Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week

    About Leigha’s Girls

    Leigha’s Girls is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls ages 10–18 through mentorship, leadership development, life skills, self-love, community service, and personal growth.

    Position Overview

    Leigha’s Girls is seeking a creative and passionate Volunteer Social Media Manager to help expand our online presence and inspire girls, families, volunteers, and supporters.

    This role will be responsible for managing our Facebook and Instagram accounts, creating engaging content, and helping us grow awareness of our mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and schedule daily Facebook and Instagram posts
    • Develop engaging graphics using Canva or similar tools
    • Share upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and success stories
    • Respond to comments and messages when appropriate
    • Maintain a positive, empowering, and youth-focused brand voice
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director on content ideas and campaigns
    • Help grow followers and community engagement

    Qualifications

    • Experience managing social media accounts
    • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Canva, and scheduling tools
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Passion for youth empowerment and community impact
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

    Preferred

    • Nonprofit experience
    • Graphic design experience
    • Experience creating Reels and short-form video content
