    Description

    This is a volunteer opportunity at the Braille Institute Library! Your contribution will directly support our mission to provide meaningful access to library materials for incarcerated patrons. Each prepared player helps bring knowledge, entertainment, and connection to someone who needs it.

    Responsibilities:

    • Carefully remove speaker systems from used digital players
    • Ensure each unit is properly prepared for shipment
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
    • Report any damaged or unusable equipment

    Training Provided:

    • Hands-on training with staff guidance
    • Safety and handling procedures for digital equipment

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Enjoys tinkering with machines and small electronics
    • Retired individuals welcome
    • Comfortable getting hands-on and working with tools
    • Reliable and detail-oriented
