The Peace River Center is seeking dedicated volunteers for its Victim Services program, where individuals can make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. Volunteers will be responsible for answering hotline calls, responding to client inquiries, and actively engaging with participants. They will also assist at the shelter and support outreach events, while helping to maintain organization within the office and manage donations. To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete a level 2 background screening, which includes fingerprinting, a statewide and national criminal history check, as well as a sex offender and drug screening. Shifts are available during weekdays, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for flexible scheduling. It is important for volunteers to dress in appropriate office attire to maintain a professional environment.
