Description
Centra Hospice is seeking a compassionate volunteer and certified therapy cat team to provide comfort and companionship to hospice patients who enjoy the presence of cats. Visits help reduce feelings of loneliness, promote emotional well-being, and bring joy during a difficult time. Therapy animals must be certified through an approved pet therapy organization and meet all health and vaccination requirements. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families. Based on the email discussion, hospice is exploring certified cat therapy options for a patient who specifically requested cat companionship visits.
