Embrace Abilities is a family-founded, family-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving children, teens, and young adults with different abilities (ages 3–21) and their families across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We provide 100% free, inclusive, community-based programs such as:

    • Little Legends – Early peer connections & social-emotional learning for ages 3–11
    • Legend Makers – Transition-age skill building & community participation for ages 12–21
    • Sibshops – Evidence-based sibling support using the national Sibshops model
    • Coffee with Caregivers – Facilitated caregiver mental health & resource navigation groups
    • Parent Ambassador-Led Meetups – Peer-led park meetups and informal gatherings
    • Community Outreach & Sensory Calm Down Tent – Access, awareness, and inclusion at community events
    • Embrace the Journey – A family-centered initiative supporting resilience, connection, and hope along the disability journey

To sustain and grow this work, we are seeking a Volunteer Business/Strategic Planning Advisor to help us create a clear, realistic business plan we can share with sponsors, donors, and other stakeholders.

    • Outline a simple 1–3 year business/strategic plan aligned with our mission and 2025 sponsorship goals
    • Define key goals, milestones, and basic budget projections
    • Shape a concise, stakeholder-ready plan we can share with sponsors, donors, and partners
