Do you enjoy spending time with people? Helping those in need? If you've ever cared for a loved on, you understand how overwhelming it can be. Hospice of Central Pa has respite opportunities available for volunteers to help families in need. Respite is a short, temporary break, pause, or rest from something difficult or tiring. It commonly implies a welcomed period of relief of a requirement such as caregiving. Volunteer tasks include, but are not limited to; traveling to patient homes to provide a couple hours of respite so family members can run errands, relax, take a break from their daily caregiving responsibilities. If you're interested in helping families find some relief, please reach out! We look forward to having you on our team!
Hospice of Central Pa serves Dauphin, Perry, Cumberland, and other surrounding counties. Our Mission is to provide personalized, compassionate care and support for patients and families coping with serious illness through the end of life.
