    Hospice Volunteer

    What You Need to Know

    Hospice For All Seasons’ Volunteers provide critical support for patients and their families. Volunteers must be caring, compassionate, dedicated individuals capable of entering a home without judgment or the need to impose their own belief system. Volunteers must be outstanding listeners!

    Volunteer Requirements

    Volunteer orientation/training is provided and must be completed prior to assignment. Volunteers must undergo a criminal background check, provide a current ID card or driver’s license and proof of insurance, as well as submit to a tuberculosis screening.

    What Volunteers Can Do

    • Share a smile, engage in conversation and life review.
    • Cook a meal, sing a song, play a game, tell a joke.
    • Provide caregiver respite, run an errand, assist with yard work or home projects.
    • Be a calming presence, hold a hand, listen.
    • Turn your passion into action.
