Details
Description
NORA is a Danish-Malagasy non-profit operating on Ile Sainte Marie, Madagascar. We build school kitchens, run school lunch programs, install solar lighting in off-grid villages, and work with a circular economy approach on the east coast of the island. We are on the ground full time, and we are growing.
To fund our upcoming projects, we are looking for 1–2 volunteer Grant Screeners & Fundraising Ambassadors for approximately 3 hours per week, fully remote and fully flexible.
This is not a passive role. You will be doing real work, getting real experience, working directly with our founder and board members. Your tasks will include:
→ Researching and identifying relevant Danish and international foundations, trusts, and grants
→ Managing our application pipeline and tracking deadlines and requirements
→ Supporting grant application writing and proofreading
Who are you?
You have a background or experience in Global Development, Business, Political Science, Communication, or similar - students and recent graduates are very welcome. You are structured, analytical, fluent in Danish and English, and you can work independently.
What you get:
✔ Hands-on experience with institutional fundraising
✔ A formal recommendation letter upon completion of your volunteer period
✔ Direct impact: your work enables school meals and solar light for children in Madagascar
