    Description

    PurpleStride Silicon Valley April 25, 2026

    PurpleStride Silicon Valley is one of the biggest fundraisers supporting research to find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. This is an in-person event.

    We are looking for volunteers to help with this event which is a short walk (approx. 1.5 miles) to raise funds to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer as well as for research.

    Volunteers will be asked to assist with the following:

    1. Welcome team: traffic/parking control, greeting participants, registration
    2. Event Village Team: placement of directional signage, supporting booths as needed, food & beverage set-up, Purple Play Zone activity set-up, cheerleaders at start/finish and along route
    3. Course Team: monitoring walkers along the course, assistance with group photo station (along route)
    4. Tear down team

    High school clubs welcome!
