Description
CFMC is seeking a Community Outreach Volunteer to support efforts to expand awareness of our programs and strengthen partnerships across the metro Atlanta area. CFMC provides inclusive exercise, wellness services, and educational programming for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement challenges.
This role is well suited for volunteers interested in community engagement, public health, social work, nonprofit operations, or advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with outreach to community partners, healthcare offices, and local organizations
- Help distribute flyers and informational materials
- Support tabling at community events, health fairs, and workshops
- Maintain outreach contact lists and logs
- Assist with follow-up communication and partner engagement
Ideal Volunteer
- Interest in community health, nonprofit work, or social services
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfortable engaging with diverse populations
- Reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented
- Passion for serving individuals with chronic conditions or disabilities
