    Odoo Administrator Volunteer Role at CrowdDoing

    CrowdDoing.world is seeking an Odoo administrator to help manage our Odoo infrastructure and platform. This is an unpaid, virtual volunteer role to use your skills for social good.

    As Odoo Administrator, you will handle server configuration, backups, updates and day-to-day troubleshooting. You'll also control user access and manage security policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installing and configuring Odoo servers and infrastructure
    • Ensuring proper server redundancies and failover systems
    • Maintaining backups, handling restores if needed
    • Monitoring system health metrics and performance
    • Applying Odoo updates and security patches
    • Granting user access and managing permission schemes
    • Troubleshooting issues, outages or degradations
    • Improving system reliability based on usage patterns

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems
    • Excellent Linux server administration abilities
    • Understanding of system architecture, networking and security
    • Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting
    • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure ideal
    • Meticulous attention to detail and documentation
    • Passion for volunteering skills towards social impact
