    Description

    About Us

Empower Holding Group supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health concerns. We build systems that are both compliant and compassionate, ensuring safety, dignity, and opportunity for those we serve.

    Role Summary

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented volunteer to review our existing policy/procedure documents, separate them into distinct policies and procedures, and ensure each is clear, compliant, and easy to use. Policies should be written at a higher level with source requirements cited; procedures should be simplified into step‑by‑step instructions staff can follow with confidence.

    Key Tasks

    • Review current merged policy/procedure documents by topic
    • Separate content into two distinct documents:
      • Policy: high‑level intent, scope, and source requirements
      • Procedure: clear, step‑by‑step operational guidance
    • Rewrite or refine content for clarity, compliance, and usability
    • Ensure all policies cite relevant laws, regulations, or standards
    • Recommend formatting and structure for consistency across documents

    Ideal Skills

    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Experience with policy development or compliance documentation
    • Ability to translate complex requirements into plain language
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Commitment to EHG’s mission and values

    Perks

    • Flexible schedule, remote‑friendly
    • Direct impact on organizational compliance and staff effectiveness
    • Collaborative, mission‑driven team

This volunteer opportunity is 100% remote to U.S. and global applicants:

    • Applicants must be authorized to participate in volunteer work in their native country
    • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
