    Description

As a delivery volunteer, you will have varied responsibilities. Your primary function is to deliver the meals, but you are also a greeter, an observer, a liaison and sometimes even a lifesaver. Since our volunteers are the ones who have daily contact with our clients, your job is an important one in helping to provide the best possible service when delivering meals to our clients. Can't commit to volunteer on a weekly basis? No problem. We are always looking for substitute drivers to cover routes when our regular drivers are unavailable, or you can share a route and deliver every other week. We are currently delivering meals M-F at our Chapel Hill location. We also have a location in Hillsborough and currently deliver M-Th, but are gradually expanding to deliveries on Fridays at that location, as well. We will need new drivers in preparation for that transition! If the hours of 10:30am-12:15pm (M, T, W, Th or F) aren't convenient for you, there might be other ways you can help, so don't hesitate to contact us. Thank YOU!
