Description
Social Empowerment Texas is seeking volunteers to help revitalize two visitation rooms at the Killeen Priest CPS Office.
Date: February 4, 2027
Time: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Location: Killeen Priest CPS Office
Volunteers may participate individually or as part of a group, company, or family with children.
Volunteer activities may include:
- Deep cleaning the visitation rooms
- Cleaning and organizing toys and books
- Assembling furniture
- Removing broken or unusable items
- Replacing broken or worn items
- Reorganizing the rooms
- Painting murals
- Hanging new artwork and decorations
The goal of this project is to help create welcoming, comfortable, and family-friendly visitation spaces for children and families.
Volunteers do not need to have specialized experience. SET will provide guidance on the activities needed during the project.
